Cons of Becoming a Virtual Assistant
There will be some Con's to becoming a Virtual Assistant:
· Initial clients won't be easy to find. Along with that, not all the clients you will encounter will pay you in a timely manner.
· The cost to run your business will increase the more successful you become. This means that if you get enough business you might need a better computer, or faster internet connection, perhaps even some additional staff.
· You are required to pay all your taxes and medical expenses.
· There is no guaranteed check every two weeks. Some clients may pay once a month, others may just never pay. You'll need to use caution when taking on clients.
· If you don't work during a week, you don't get paid. There is no vacation time.
Even with all these Pros and Cons a Virtual Assistant job may still be the right choice for you. Depending on the needs of you and your family it offers a great way for one person to stay at home and take care of the house, while giving a sense of accomplishment in being able to run your own business and make an income to be proud of.
