SES Resume Writing Don'ts

Here are a couple things you avoid, when it comes to SES resume writing:

·    Don't be brief

That's not to say you should simply ramble on endlessly; your resume and your executive core qualifications in particular should be well-written, clear, and as distinct as possible. However, don't skimp on any details.

·    Don't be modest

This is not the time to be modest. People will want to know who you are and what you can do. Again, chances are, if you're up for this position anyway, you know how to get the job done and have been through some very stringent interview processes before. However, the SES is different, because you'll be working for the federal government, and you'll need to be a cut above everyone else in order to even be considered for an interview.
