How to answer the salary question
Even if employers are asking for your salary history or salary expectations, you shouldn't give them a precise answer, whether it's in your resume or cover letter. Why? Simply because they use this information to reject some candidates. To avoid that trap without making them think you didn't pay attention to the announcement, just write something like:
“Regarding salary history, I was paid a competitive salary”
or
“Regarding salary requirements, I am looking for a competitive salary”.
