CONTROLLER
Lyndonville, VT
Summary: The controller will be responsible for the Company’s financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, and various special analyses.
Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and the internal and external recording of reporting of financial transactions. Responsible for coordinating and preparing annual budget, quarterly reprojections and roll-forwards and year-end audits. Monitors department policies and procedures and recommends improvements and serves as a resource for others regarding general aspects of accounting. Ensures that accounting activities are in accordance with established GAAP guidelines, legal, regulatory and company procedures.
Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
CMA/CPA a plus.
• At least 3 years of controllership or related job experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting.
• Strong general ledger and business skills, QuickBooks experience a
plus.
• Strong PC skills incl Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, inter-personal and analytical skills.
• Professional attitude and attire.
