Generate new investment ideas in the biotech sector & advise on current portfolio positions. Perform financial analysis & conduct due diligence calls w/ physicians & other consultants, & attend co. management mtgs as an observer in select cases & investment/medical conferences. Requires a Master's degree or foreign equiv in Biological or Chem Sciences & I yr of investment banking or consulting experience in the healthcare industry. Exp must incl: Performing due diligence, financial modeling & analysis on companies w/in the healthcare industry; Performing valuation analysis using Discounted Cash Flows (DCF) model; Conducting market research, assessing current market trends, & model-bldg Utilizing Tableau Alteryx, & SPSS for healthcare industry; Interviewing clients & industry experts & translating conclusions into investment recommendations.
