200 Temp FT Forestry Workers
200 Temp FT Forestry Workers. Worksites: Begin Medford, Jackson County, OR @ $13.96/hr; provided daily transport to & from worksite - continue in states: CA, CO, ID,MT, NV, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY. 1/19/19-11/12/19. Poss duties: raise/transport/sort/PLANT: seedlings/trees.
Spray/inject vegetation w/ insecticides/herbicides. Reduce competing vegetation: trim/cut trees, logs. Under direction of fire/forestry technicians: prescribed burns, fire fight, construct fire break, dispose of brush & other related Forestry act. SOC/OES 45-4011

Must be 18 due to travel. Must show proof of legal authority to work in US. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Must walk substantially (up to 15 miles/day), also stoop, bend while carrying pack (up to 50lbs) thru rough terrain (non-trail). Must have 3 mo. verifiable Commercial Brushsaw/Chainsaw exp. No min. education. requirement. All applicants must be willing, qualified, to perform work described for entire period specified. Based on Employer's discretion/cost: Worker may have random drug/alcohol test during employment: positive test/ refusal to abide = dismissal. $11.96/hr up to poss $22.00/hr OT $17.94/hr up to poss $33.00/hr, DOE, Wage may vary. At employer's discretion: poss raise/bonus/draw/loan/advance (draw/loan/advance deducted from worker's paycheck). Poss daily/wkly hrs: 6A-3P, 40+ (plus) to include lunch break M-F. Poss weekend/holiday work. Outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hrs, occasionally in extreme heat/cold. Variable weather conditions; hrs may fluctuate (+/-), poss downtime
and/or OT. OT avail, not required. Employer will comply w/all applicable federal, state & local laws pertaining to OT hrs. H&W benefits may apply. Transportation: Will provide/pay cost of worker return transport, subsistence from worksite to place worker departed to work for employer if worker completes period of employment or dismissed from
employment before end of work period above. Transportation & subsistence will be reimbursed (by check 1st work week) for cost from place worker has come to work for employer, whether in US or abroad, to place of employment.
Guaranteed offered work hrs at least 3/4s of workdays each 12/wk period of total employment period. Use/maintain of employer provided tools/equip./supplies @ no cost/deposit. Optional housing available at no cost.
