Data Scientist
(F-T; multiple openings) needed in Troy, MI & various unanticipated locs thruout U.S. to dvlp IT hardw & softw solutions for customers. Design, config, & maintain data analytics platforms in Cloud or on client’s bus. premises. Understand client’s analytics needs, as well as client’s existing IT sys’s & datasets to prep data for analytics, & reporting, as well as design req’d analytics & reports. Coord. source-coding for all solutions. Create new technology solutns for clients by applying theoretical methods & concepts to new purposes. Ensure source codes are maintained to meet client req’ts. Must have Master’s (or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Eng’g (any), or rel. field, plus 2 yrs IT exp. The 2 yrs IT exp must incl exp w/ SQL Server & Oracle. In the alternative, we will accept Bachelor’s (or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Eng’g (any), or rel. field, plus 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s IT exp. 2 yrs of the 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s IT exp must incl exp w/ SQL Server & Oracle. All exp may be acquired concurrently. Any suitable comb. of educatn, training, or exp is acceptable. Telecommuting permitted. Positn req’s travel. Travel to be paid by employer pursuant to internal policy. EOE.
