PORTLAND HARBOR HOTEL in Portland, ME has following temp positions from 4/1/18 to 11/30/18. Housekeeper: 12 openings, Min 35hrs/wk, 8a-4p & 3p-11p. $10.68/hr. Clean guest rooms & public areas daily including sweeping, dusting, mopping & vacuuming.
Make beds and replenish linens. Monday through Sunday, Scheduled shift and work days vary. 1 mo. exp. req’d. OT is not available. Daily transportation to/from work is not provided. Onthe-job training is not provided. Must be available to work weekends, holidays & rotate shifts. Supplies, work tools & equipment are provided free. No employee housing. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law bi-weekly.
Guaranteed work for total hrs equal to at least ¾ of the workdays in each 12-week period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and daily subsistence (min $12.07/day and max $51/day), if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence (min $12.07/day and max $51/day), upon departure. Pay biweekly.
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
