Seeks to hire 35 temporary, full time workers for the position of
Groundskeeper from 04/01/2018 to 12/28/2018 in Ridgedale, MO. Will perform general duties required of groundskeepers:
Maintenance and upkeep of all grounds, including plants, trees, lawn areas, golf course maintenance (greens, fairways, etc) drives,
walkways, ponds, irrigation systems, snow and ice removal, trash and recycling. Cut, trip, seed, irrigate and maintain all lawn
areas. Flower bed preparation, planting and weeding. Cleaning up debris, snow and ice removal, spreading of sand an ice melt.
Perform tree maintenance. Must lift up to 100 lbs. Requires physical activity for extended periods of time. On-the-job training will
be during the first 5 days. Employee will be provided two days of company orientation followed by three days of department specific
training. Workers scheduled for one shift per day between the hours 5am-6pm, Sunday - Saturday with 1-2 days off per week at the
hourly rate of $11.45/hour. Employees are paid in weekly pay periods. Each temporary employee to be employed as a
Groundskeeper may have to work overtime to ensure the project is completed on time. Overtime is paid at $17.18/hour. Single
workweek used to compute wages. Free access to the resort’s fitness center and discounted meals. Criminal background check (post
hire, pre-employment). Optional employee housing available. If employee takes advantage of employee housing, the total cost
deducted is $85.00 per pay period (week): $75.00 rent (includes electric, water, sewer, trash, cable, phone and internet); $10
security deposit (returned if house is left in good condition after departure). Employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first work
week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by
the H-2B worker (excluding passport expenses and other charges that primarily benefit the worker). Transportation (including meals
and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker
completes half of the employment period. Daily subsistence will be at least $12.07 per day during travel to a maximum of $51 per
day with receipts. The reimbursement will be provided by separate check. Employer will provide return transportation and daily
subsistence if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early. Employer will provide at no charge, all tools,
equipment and supplies necessary to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least threefourths
of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will make all the deductions from
paychecks that are required by law. All deductions will be FLSA-compliant.
