Software Engineer (multiple openings) (company headquarters is in Boston, MA)
Assess client’s existing insurance products, documenting new product req’s & assessing technological impact. Develop the framework to guide management in planning, designing & implementing operational & technological change to support new insurance products. Work w/ client & client’s project team to prioritize short-term & long-term enhancements for new technology products & services. Analyze impacts of enhancements on architecture of new insurance products. Assess the use new technology in multifamily Commerce Insurance products. Measure & compare regional process differences & recommend improved business processes & the application of technology to improve insurance products’ time to market. Req’s: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, plus 2 yrs of exp in position offered. All req’d exp must have included TronWeb architecture, components, deployment & support; developing insurance industry sector technologies, including Issue, Claims, Treasury & co-insurance modules in TronWeb & IT systems; & using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java AWT, J2EE, HTML5, & CSS3. Position is for roving employee who will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. according to business need.
