Job Description: Islands Community Medical Services ICMS is seeking an experienced and energetic Human Resources Manager The HR Manager is responsible for daytoday operations of the human resources HR department under the Executive Director HR department functions include staff recruitment coordinating salary and benefits maintaining HR and emergency preparedness policies and procedures coordinating annual reviews and ensuring ICMS is in legal compliance with agency operational state and federal requirements and assists with the implementation of ICMSs risk management program The Human Resources Manager acts as a liaison between health center staff and senior leadership and serves as firsttier staff support for daytoday questions and the key contact for emergency preparedness Responsibilities include Specific responsibilities for managing and completing a wide range of human resource and administrative functions to include but not limited to Working with leadership to ensure adequate staffing of positions competencies and qualifications and assisting with the development and implementation of approved job classifications and salary structure Leading staff recruitment efforts including advertising open positions reviewing resumesapplications coordinating and facilitating interviews conducting reference and background checks Coordinating processes for both new hires and staff departing the health center including employee orientation and conducting exit interviews and documenting feedback for senior leadership to review Maintaining the ICMS Employee Handbook as well as HRpersonnel and Emergency Preparedness elements of the health centers policies and procedures Working with leadership to manage annual staff training calendar for risk management and coordinating timeoff requests and schedules Working with Director of Operations to plan and implement annual employee reviews as well as assisting Medical Director and Clinical Director in completing annual competencies and reviews for medical staff and maintaining documentation regarding provider contracts Developing HR goals and benchmarks with ED and Director of Operations conducting staff satisfaction surveys making recommendations to leadership to reduce absenteeism turnover and other adverse employment related trends and improving overall staff satisfaction Mediating firsttier HRrelated questions and issues and elevating to Executive Director or Director of Operations as appropriate Risk Management specific to incident reporting and review of risk management activities such as ongoing monitoring assessment and documentation Maintain compliance with federal employment state employment HIPAA EEO and civil rights laws OSHA rules and regulations Ensure all personnel files are in legal compliance with statefederal and agency requirements To apply, go here: https://jobs.shrm.org/jobs/human-resources-manager-vinalhaven-maine-04863-116058432-d za05-21208
