E-mail Don'ts

A resume issue that you might have not thought about but that is pretty important is the e-mail you include as contact info in your resume. With our resume writing service, we've seen thousands of resumes we had to rewrite and you would be surprised to know how many times we've seen e-mails like hotgirl25@hotmail.com, joe007@yahoo.com, suavejake@msn.com, etc ...

Well guess what ... these types of e-mails might be OK to use with your friends or for your dating encounters but when it comes to your resume, it will not only make you look like a fool but most importantly, it looks unprofessional enough to get you disqualified for the job, even if you have what it takes.

So don't ruin your chances with such a detail. If your e-mail doesn't sound very professional, just open another account for employment-related stuff. It's free, will only take a couple minutes and will avoid making a bad first impression.
