Details: TEKsystems has a full-time and long-term position in Pensacola, FL for a Network Engineer. Candidates must have an Active TS Clearance. Essential Job Functions -Able to install, configure, and maintain Cisco and Juniper network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Able to design and implement an enterprise network -Recommends data, voice or video network investment decisions to management and customers based on results of independent assessment of current and future network performance, stability, and network management issues. Additional Information: - Designs, supports, coordinates, controls or operates specialized components of a network whether data, voice or video. - Conducts activities such as planning, coordinating, configuring, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning devices on any given type of a network infrastructure which might include routers, switches, gateways, firewall systems, multifunction switches, end offices, signaling transfer points, private branch exchanges, voice over IP (VoIP), voice mail, call management systems (CMS) and network security devices. - Maintains basic data, voice or video network hardware and systems; investigates, resolves and/or escalates network and hardware matters of significance; researches, analyzes and isolates errors; assists in assessing and updating older networks as needed and in accordance with specified plans. - Provides first line technical support on data, voice or video networks for internal and/or external customers; answers routine technical questions; recommends and implements approved course of action. - Installs and maintains network facilities, including hardware, software, and system data for small networks. Installs network applications on network servers or voice equipment; maintains, tests, researches and resolves problems. - Determines appropriate standard testing routines or scripts; may test various voice or data equipment such as routers, switches, hubs or optical equipment or multi-function switches, end offices, signaling transfer points, private branch exchanges (PBX), voice mail, call management system, etc. for maintenance. - Assists in designing, and implements and maintains various networks such as LAN, WAN and voice systems in accordance with specified requirements. Summary : The Quality Software System Manager is a Super User of MasterControl and responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Duties and Responsibilities : Maintain the company’s Quality Software Management System, MasterControl including all aspects of configuration and validation. Design and implement new modules of the QMS. Perform the Document Control function within the validated QMS including the m aintenance, storage, reconciliation, and archiving of controlled documents. Develop training materials and provide training for users of MasterControl. Support user requests for troubleshooting issues related to MasterControl. SENIOR LEAD INFORMATION SECURITY ENGINEER
Details: Position Summary: The Senior Lead Information Security Engineer is a member of the Information Security Governance/IBRR team that is responsible for Global Data Protection and conducting International Business Risk Reviews (IBRR) to address security risks with new work moving to international locations, and working with IT to assess applications and verify Clean Room controls. The Engineer contributes to CenturyLink's Global Data Protection program in a leadership role by establishing/improving processes to conduct risk assessments on proposed international activities; eliciting business requirements from multiple business stakeholders; converting business requirements to technical requirements and coordinating their implementation with IT Services, Network Services and other project teams; and facilitating meetings with the International Business Risk Review Council (IBRRC), if necessary. The successful candidate will have broad technical knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats, as well as security technologies and methods used to protect both corporate and customer-facing network infrastructures. This candidate must be able to work independently and as a team leader to develop and execute strategies and consult with internal clients on advanced security topics. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent oral and written communications skills and experience in presenting technical issues to a wide variety of audiences. Responsibilities: Define the security direction for the organization, including systems, networks, user services, and vendor development efforts. Consult with senior management and internal clients across multiple business units on complex security topics and policy interpretation. Proactively identify potential security issues within the corporate and carrier infrastructure, and provide strategic direction to avoid risks to CenturyLink information assets. Ensure reports and findings are delivered in a timely and appropriate manner to management, operations and executive leadership. Develop relationships and engage with industry partners, Security Information Exchanges, and other groups to assess industry advances in technical security technologies.
