Government Property Administrator
Details: REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Account for and verify inventory of all materials associated with government contracts. Ensure Compliance in all areas of Materials Management as it pertains to Government Contracts. Track preventative maintenance for all required equipment. Ensure scrap materials are recorded and reported IAW government requirements. Track and report residual material at all stages of all government projects. Maintain record of any lost damaged and/or destroyed material and equipment associated with government projects. Liaise with production, project, and purchasing to track life cycle of materials from receipt to consumption. Monitor materials transferred across programs to ensure they are documented and accounted for as required. Obtain and document necessary approvals and ensure compliance with MMAS requirements. Monitor and hold sub-contractor accountable for proper storage, tracking and reporting of materials associated with government contracts. Assist in inventory management, including inventory accuracy measurement, and managing residual/excess material transfers to fill production requirements. QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Warehouse, Inventory Management, Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred. Could potentially substitute sufficient experience for education. High School diploma/GED required. Experience with IFS, SAP or other integrated MRP system strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Must have working knowledge and experience in the field of government property management. FAR/DFAR and MMAS Standards knowledge desired. Must possess the Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and/or memos. Must be able to effectively communicate with multiple levels of personnel throughout the company.
