Details: American Axle is holding a Hiring Event the week of August 24 th in Detroit MI for Product Engineers. These are full time, direct hire positions. Hiring managers will be prepared to make offers to candidates that meet their requirements at the end of the interview day. After a phone screen interview qualified candidates will be invited to interview directly with hiring managers and HR on the Hiring Event day. Be part of a tier-one automotive drive train supplier that delivers power to move the world. At AAM, we’re looking for associates who push beyond the limits of their imagination to break the boundaries of what exists today to drive solutions for tomorrow. These positions are located in Detroit, MI. Product Engineer Overview Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies. Develops and documents functional requirements and translates into detail design documents. Participates in buy-build analysis for product components. Researches new materials and competitive products. Organizes, coordinates, and executes building, testing, and analysis of prototypes. Assists supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Oversees the efforts of drafting and testing specialists. Participates in and supports proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports. Responsibilities Evaluate customer requirements and determine appropriate design. Professionally represent AAM and AAM Product Engineering to the customer. Provide written and verbal technical communications. Engineering analysis (stack-ups, calculations, interfacing with CAE group) Perform design analysis for current programs, future products, and cost reduction opportunities. Project management (Oversee & track wide range of activities via PERT, Gantt, etc.) Develop, validate and release component designs. Determine test requirements and write test orders. Participate in managing engineering project budget, support Cost Analysis process. Provide technical direction to CAD designers, manufacturing/process engineers, suppliers, purchasing, analysis & test engineers, etc. Release of Bill Of Materials Provide Bill Of Materials and technical information in support of corporate cost estimating and other activities. Approval of all Product Math Models and Detailed Drawings Creation of Product Structure (BOM) within Electronic Information System Completion of Prototype Build Request (Drawings, Specifications, Build Data Sheets) Initiate and coordinate the design, development, prototype builds, and validation process from concept thru production launch. May have supervisory responsibilities over a small group for specific engineering objectives. Determine root cause and make corrective action recommendations. Participate in Product Launch Teams Participate in Supplier Technical Reviews Ability to travel up to 10% U.S. & international Self-Starter, sense of urgency Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Details: POSITION SUMMARY: Facilitating the introduction of services and educationto patients from healthcare providers, facilities and/or discharge planners.Arranges the continued medical care of the patient within a definedgeographic territory based upon risk level, clinical and social needs. Provideseffective communication and collaboration among providers, clinicians andpatients. Assists patients in their transfer to mobile integrated careservices in the home after a referral is received from the health system,payor or physician. Essential Duties andResponsibilities: Act as liaison between the company, medical practice and providers, including interaction with case management and discharge planners at a variety of facilities and to provide education about the company’s mobile integrated care services. Conduct pre-discharge hospital patient visits at the healthcare provider’s request to determine the need and eligibility for mobile integrated care services, introduction to the company upon acceptance of a healthcare provider’s referral, explain available mobile integrated care services to patients and families and complete all necessary risk stratification assessments. Gain consent from patient for services to be provided upon discharge. Provides data collection, enters patient’s data into clinical platforms, and ensures documentation of all activities performed. Acts as a patient advocate, coordinating resources with community and health system partners including various social support, home care and post-acute facilities/providers. Effectively communicate and collaborate with providers, branch, and medical command center for patients that are at risk for hospital readmission, and provide appropriate clinical feedback to referral partners regarding their condition. Track and report any ED utilization, hospital readmissions on a monthly basis Deliver effective presentation of the company’s service offerings Provide feedback to healthcare providers regarding the acceptance and progress of patients and document all demographic, clinical and payor information Promote the company internally and externally while assisting in the development of strategic planning initiatives Maintain accurate documents required by the company, as appropriate.
