Shipper - 2nd Shift

Position Summary Responsible for the daily processing of outgoing shipments through the tracking system, and preparation of packages for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, verifying, and recording product and shipping information. Key Duties/Responsibilities • Prepare packaged orders for shipment, to include printing address labels and scanning orders into UPS or USPS tracking systems. • Must match labels and shipping addresses to ensure accuracy. • Prepares skids for shipping in accordance with customer requirements, moving to staging area and then loading onto truck for outgoing distribution. • Produces daily manifests and completes all necessary forms and paperwork, to include daily reports from UPS systems. • Coordinates with truck line broker to set up truckload and LTL shipments, and prepares all applicable paperwork for truck line shipments. • Work with management to identify and resolve delivery issues • Communicate effective verbally and in written format with outside organizations such as UPS, USPS, SmartMail both by telephone and in person • Basic system troubleshooting to include contacting the appropriate technical support for resolution- run diagnostics to determine if it is a Harland Clarke or supplier issue. • Other duties as assigned Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm.
