This developer will have the opportunity to work on new products for a financial company located in Logan, UT. The IT group builds and maintains a proprietary software system using a blend of C# and C++ running on both Windows and Linux. Chief Engineer
Details: IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Chief Engineer! This is a long term, contract position with the work able to be done remotely, but must be willing to support all time zones. The role of the Chief Engineer (CE) is to ensure the successful delivery of detailed solution designs based on client requirements and schedule for the account. Individual must have migration experience, working knowledge of midrange operating systems, working knowledge of event management tools, availability management tools, managed elements (monitoring), performance management, adaptability and ability to script for interaction with the tools. Also a good working knowledge of the various communication protocols is a must. OVERVIEW • Ensure client satisfaction through the engineering of solutions that meet specific contract requirements, standards, templates and customer expectations. • Be the primary point of contact to Service Delivery Executives or account delivery leads for PE engineering resources, delivery and overall solution quality. • Determine engineering priorities (in conjunction with Delivery Optimization) for client deliverables and secures engineering resources to deliver. • Understand all standard offerings for use in client environments. • Keep abreast of emerging technologies in the clients industry and technology direction. • Understand and maintain road maps for technologies in use at the account. • Provide thought leadership and innovation through recommendations demonstrating an understanding of account business model / drivers /needs. • Validate / audit end-to-end solution and ensure scope of solution meets contractual and SLA requirements (availability, performance, capacity). DUTIES 1. Technical accountability for end-to-end engineering design, integration and deployment of account specific solutions across multiple service lines. 2. Provide technical leadership for the migration, consolidation, standardization, automation and virtualization of the infrastructure environments. 3. Provide inputs to CTO architecture office on standards and strategies that can be designed, implemented and supported by engineering and operation teams. 4. Provide GE QMS process workflows, standards governance, directions and improvements for the account. 5. Work with the account program manager to improve integration of engineering and program manager's work stream. 6. Develop server hardware architecture and engineering life cycle process from emerging to current deployment phase. The process includes developing the overall process flow document and reference architecture templates as a success criteria. 7. Provide engineering resource costing analysis on transitions, projects and initiatives that include server refresh. 8. Work with the Capability to maintain 85% of the team assigned to billable projects. 9. Provide services for “on boarding" and “off boarding" of engineers, which includes training and when required (ex Server Refresh, EUC Exchange/AD migration). 10. Facilitate weekly server standard process meetings to review and discuss emerging Architecture, Server standards and process work flows. 11. Participate in Enterprise Technology Office meeting facilitated by CTO to discuss Enterprise level architecture emerging strategies. 12. Attend project meetings (Daily and Weekly) to provide technical direction, assist PMs with project scheduling, management and provide assistance with resourcing. 13. Provide management of approved QMS engineering deliverables and process documentation updates. 14. Participate in Project Delivery Review Meetings. 15. Participate in the development of engineering resource costing analysis. 16. Participate in weekly TOP (Turnover to Operations) meetings. 17. Participate in engineering and architecture document reviews. 18. Act as the escalation point for engineering issues. 19. Provide Engineering participation in major incident troubleshooting meetings.

Community Engagement Leader - Montana
Details: The Community Engagement Leader strengthens brand awareness and connection to Thrivent by collaborating with their assigned Partner to develop and execute a zone plan primarily focused on social, educational, charitable and religious activities that help members and prospective members be wise with money and inspire them to live generously. The community engagement leader regularly interacts with New Financial Representatives (FRs) and selected other focus FRs to educate and support them in activities to drive new member growth. The leader also drives growth by building, connecting, and leveraging relationships within Thrivent communities, congregations, and lodges to activate members to become advocates and prospective members to become more aware of Thrivent and its mission. Location: Missoula, Butte, Bozeman or Helena Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with zone partner(s) to identify annual new member growth and engagement goals and activities, acting as a “new member champion” through communication on available tax exempt program resources and offering ideas for building awareness with prospective members for all FRs in the zone and other new member growth opportunities. Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with the zone partner bringing the activities and opportunities for new member growth and engagement to the meetings. Participate in RFO level QBRs as requested, representing the member growth efforts Engage with New Financial Representatives (NFR) to educate them on tax exempt programs and activities available to build a successful practice and serve existing members. Influence their activity through follow up coaching and joint action plans. Participate in NFR regional training, providing guidelines for interaction with Community Engagement team members and support for Thrivent story development Identify and engage with focus Financial Representatives (FRs), including their annual action planning, with formal quarterly follow up on commitments and plan refinement to ensure new member goals are achieved Facilitate activities, events and workshops with focus FRs, office professionals and other support staff, to ensure appropriate venues, relevant and compliant topics, and promotion with members, prospective members, congregations, and communities to ensure that events result in awareness and new member opportunities. Follow up on events by conducting coaching conversations with focus FRS, encouraging immediate and effective follow up on events. Support existing volunteer networks and communities by meeting with member leaders to discuss Thrivent’s mission, tax-exempt programs and influence the chapter/community activities to support our purpose of strengthening Christian communities by helping people be wise with money and inspiring generosity. Engage select chapters in discussions and activities with appropriate FRs to promote Thrivent in the community and build awareness among prospective members Collaborate with Communities of Interest and Influence in the zone to build partnerships between zone partners and FRs that result in new member opportunities and better awareness and advocacy for Thrivent. This is accomplished through communication of our fraternal benefits and our mission as an organization, as well as activities that benefit our members, communities and reflect the Thrivent Way.
