Improvements and Engineering. Supports lean and flow activities to include the following: Assists manager in the education, coaching and mentoring of all employees in lean methodology and leading lean manufacturing initiatives and programs throughout the plant such as work flow improvement, 5S, work station efficiency, etc. Calculates the return on investment for improvement activities reporting results to local and corporate management. Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer. Performs other duties and assists with project work as assigned by management. Conducting monthly workshops on continuous improvement analysis. Measures and analyzes resource productivity using time and motion studies. Makes suggestions for changes to flow that will ultimately reduce cycle time. Plant Manager
Details: Job Description: Our client is looking for a Plant Manager to oversee, safety, efficient, reliable and compliant operations in Corpus Christi. Over all responsibilities includes supervision of plant personnel and ensuring the plant is operated in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations and company programs, policies and procedures. Responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the condensate splitter and ancillary equipment including construction projects an any other special projects as required. Responsible for compliance if the condensate splitter operation and approx. 30-40 team members on a 24/7 operations. All training, evaluations, goals and coaching and development, motivating employees and counseling/disciplinary actions as necessary. Forecasting budgets and project scoping as it applies to the new plant. The plant manager will be the face of the plant and will be interacting with clients and all regulatory agencies. The plant environment is typically warm with noise, wet areas, chemicals, and other hazards.
