We are seeking expressions of interest from ATCs to work in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan as part of the US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Federal Contract Towers (FCT) Program.

JOB SUMMARY: Serve as a tour guide on our Pearl Harbor, island tours and eco adventures  (hiking, snorkeling, and boogie boarding tours). Guides will run primarily half and ful1day trips around O'ahu to tourist attractions, waterfalls and beaches.  Guide's primary responsibility is to deal with visitors, seeking to provide the best possible vacation experience. Guides are members of a growing company, which emphasizes quality, customer service and teamwork.
GUIDE DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø	Guide and narrate ½ and 1-day tours.
Ø	 Guides will drive 14 passenger vans (no commercial driver's license required) and 25 passenger minibuses (commercial license required) 
Ø	Company will train for commercial license 
Ø	Carry equipment and backpack for hiking group. (eco-tour only) 
Ø	Pack equipment, unpack, clean, and put away all trip gear after tour. (eco-tour only)
Ø	Fit snorkels, masks, fins and other gear for guests. (eco-tour only)
Ø	Fill out a daily report regarding tour and vehicle, performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Ø	Look for ways to better serve the guest and the company, brings new ideas to management.
Ø	Maintain a good sense of humor and cooperative attitude with co-workers and guests. 
Ø	Communicate well with managers and co-workers and behave professionally at all times. 
Ø	Learn about nature, culture and history of Hawaii and shares knowledge with guests. 
Ø	Treat guests in a manner that makes them feel respected, valued, liked and cared for. 
Ø	In the event of an accident, takes full charge of scene. 
QUALIFICATIONS: Guides must be at least 18 years old. Guides must have a professional attitude and be willing to learn and accept new ideas. Initiative is highly valued. Must be able to work long hours during rush periods and not be subject to moodiness. Must work well under pressure and be a team player. 
SCHEDULE: Full time and part time positions are available with a varying schedule. Efforts will be made to give guides their requested workload and days off however, consecutive days off are not guaranteed. Guides may be asked to work more if needed. Vacations are discouraged during the busy summer months.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS: Evaluated on thoroughness in performing duties, attitude, punctuality, dependability, ability to operate as a team player, initiative, mature judgment, relationships with co-workers, management and guests, flexibility and willingness to learn.
DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY: DHHT is a drug free workplace. As a condition of employment, every employee agrees to abide by the terms of the policy as set out in our Manual. Guides will participate in pre-employment screening and will also participate in a random drug-testing program. Failure to comply with the terms of this policy will result in disciplinary action, which may include the employee's discharge from employment. 
TOBACCO-FREE POLICY: DHHT is a tobacco free company. Smoking and chewing tobacco is not permitted on company's property or in any vehicle. Guides are not permitted to smoke or chew tobacco on any tour.  Any employee found in violation of this policy will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
