Key Job Responsibilities include
> Overseeing the maintenance and dissemination of personnel information using the HR Payroll info system
> Lead the development, implementation and coordination of effective employee recruitment planning and strategy
> Coordinate and oversee the recruitment process, from posting the position, to hire decision
> Ensure that all employee information is current and accurate prior to processing payroll each pay period
> Monitor and report on status of conditions of employment
> Effectively administer unemployment compensation
> Conduct investigations
> Provide professional HR orientation for all new Dungarvin staff and be available as a training resource
> Ensure clear and effective communication with Dungarvin supervisors and employees
> Respond to reference requests in accordance with Dungarvin policies
> Utilize Dungarvin HR policies
> Monitor wage and payroll information to confirm accuracy
> Administer group benefit programs including insurance and 401K
> Effectively manage workers compensation claims
> Administer leaves of absence
> Serve in a lead role for the HR department
> Promote positive teamwork and communications with Dungarvin employees operations management and NCO
HR Qualifications: Bachelors degree and three years of general human resources experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience researching recruitment resources, cultivating positive relationships with external contacts, and developing recruitment plans. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have strong computer skills including but not limited to experience with HRIS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Therap job boards, internal and external and social networking applications for recruitment purposes.

FUN FACT: Our founders, husband and wife duo Tim and Diane Madden, opened the first Dungarvin program an ICFMR, serving 15 people in St Paul Minnesota in March 1976. Tim and Diane were the live-in houseparents for that first program. Through the success of that program Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 4000 people who currently provide supports to over 4000 individuals across 14 states.
