Job DescriptionMancan has partnered with a Willoughby company who is in need of Material Handlers. Starting pay would be $11-$12/HR First shift 7am-5:30pm. 30 minute lunch break and 2x10 minute breaksCandidates need to be quick and have a genuine interest in what they are doing. General Purpose: Responsible for performing various material handling duties including: Receipt, processing and storage of inventory. Pull and stage stock items or finished goods for production or shipping. Prepare and process product for shipping. Perform any essential inventory functions as needed in support of warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-Kit components / raw material / finished good items per Job Order for production or shipping-Replenish warehouse inventory locations (RTS) using inventory received from outside suppliers or shopfloor.-Complete inventory cycle counts as assigned.-Perform all physical and system related duties for shipping and receiving of goods-Communicate with Sales and Production and related support areas as needed.-Respond to any inventory / stock requisitions and inquiries in a timely manner-Load and unload trucks as needed. Ensure all scheduled pickups are completed and secure building at end of day.-Operate various equipment, such as pallet jack and reach truck, etc.-Drive company truck as needed to pick up and drop off material as required (non-CDL).-Assist in the unloading of container shipments.-Practice good housekeeping and safety fundamentals keeping aisles and electrical panels clear and inventory well organized to facilitate efficient order pulling and inventory accuracy.Behavioral Skills:-Customer Focus-Time Management-Action Oriented-Ability to think logically and use sound judgement-Display a can do and will do attitudeMinimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:-High school diploma or equivalent required.-Prior experience in warehousing operations preferred.-Clean driving record.-Basic computer and email skills including: ability to access and create Word documents; read and edit Excel spreadsheets. Ability to perform various basic ERP system transactions. Physical Requirements. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met byan employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:-Ability to routinely lift & handle boxes weighing up to 60 lbs; typically 20 lbs. or less.-Use various material handling equipment as required.-Ability to safely operate power tools as needed to support shipping / warehouse function. Working Conditions.
