Maintenance Mechanic
The Wellesley Housing Authority seeks a full-time Maintenance Mechanic. Applicants must have experience and skill in the following areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry/construction, equipment maintenance, appliance maintenance, painting, janitorial tasks, groundskeeping, landscaping, plowing, and snow removal.
General knowledge of maintenance systems, building equipment, and power tools. Must possess a valid MA Drive's license, be insurable under Housing Authority insurance, have ability to lift fifty (75) pounds, to bend, stoop, and move in constricted areas, to climb a ladder and work in high places, have good visual ability, and be able to read and respond to written instructions in English. Employee must be able to pass a CORI check, drug screening, and physical exam with a D.O.T medical card. Must obtain a hoisting license within 6 months.
