Public acctng firm seeks Auditor for its China Practice to work under the supervision of upper management to dsgn audit approaches & cndct field audit engagements for Chinese companies publicly traded on U.S. exchanges & U.S. companies w/ ops in China across var industries.
Req. U.S. Bachelor's deg or frgn equiv in Acctng, Finance, or closely rltd field, & 1 year of exp in an audit/accounting occupation. Alternatively, an applicant mav qualify w/ 3 yrs of exp in an audit/accounting occupation. Exp must incl at least 3 yrs of exp planning & conducting tech audits; reviewing internal fin documents/ accounting methods in conformance w/ US GAAP, PRC GAAP, IFRS; identifying irregularities & establishing internal controls; & recommending accounting/auditing sys improvements. Pos also req. limited intl trvl (about 45%) to China & pro fluency in Mandarin as audit engagements focus on Chinese market/ companies & audit documents/ communications are completed in Mandarin & English.
