Job Description: Controller Full Time Judicial Watch, Inc. is looking for an experienced candidate to perform its Human Resources and Office Management functions. FULL AUTHORITY RESPONSIBLITIES: Section A Administer health and other benefit programs Coordinate short-term and long-term disability claims Manage family and medical leave under FMLA Recommend and assist in formulating employment policies Interpret and implement employment polices Triage personnel matters Manage staff recruitment and staff departures Onboard new staff members Manage all aspects of the intern program Manage office services Work with vendors to purchase and maintain office technology, phone systems, office equipment and office services Organize staff events RESPONSIBILITIES Section B The individual will also work on special projects with other departments as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following activities: Organize and maintain human resource, personnel and payroll files Work with IT consultant Provide accounting support Assist fundraising and media departments with special events Provide administrative support to Controller Supervise receptionist Special projects, as assigned This position will perform various other duties as assigned.
