Camp Huntington
Camp or Program Director
Special Needs camp seeks year round director level for residential program (Assit Dir, Program Dir or Camp Director, depending on your level of experience), must live within daily commuting distance to High Falls, NY 12440, willing and able to live on campus for summer. Pay range based on experience, and between the range of $45,000-$65,000 plus benefits and use of a company car as available in the off-season, and as available during summer operation. Campus housing may be available for reduced rent, can discuss. Apply if you have an MA degree in a related field with 5 years of prior experience in camp management positions in special needs camp programs. This position requires a very well organized and self-motivated person who can work from home during the off-season of Sept 1 through May 31st, then move to camp for the summer: June 1 - August 30th each year. Year-round duties include camper admissions, intake and marketing, staff hiring and program preparation, and some involvement with financial and operational needs. Summer efforts include program supervision and camper behavior management.
