Permanent full-time job opportunity in Ocala, Florida, for one Farmworker who must assist with horse farm labor, have the ability to speak Spanish and English and be on call 24 hours a day in case of emergency. The individual must have a minimum of three years of experience in the training and preparing thoroughbred race horses for sale; providing post-surgical care,
bandaging and administration of medications to thoroughbred race horses (including IV injections and proper use of Laser and Magna-Wave machines); performing body clipping, mane pulling and sale presentation;
managing set lists; and interacting with
veterinarians and sale company representatives as well as owners of individual horses.
Salary: $27,456.00 per year. Job is 7 days a week, with 1 week paid vacation per year. No
housing or insurance provided. EEO.
