AIM ASSOCIATE
Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America is currently seeking a full time AIM Associate at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position develops quantitative financial products used to assess and analyze the financial costs of risk and uncertainty affecting insurance investment programs. This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field and three years of experience in variable and indexed variable annuities. Must also have three years of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) in the following: (1) valuing embedded options and option greeks in variable and indexed variable annuities; (2) developing or analyzing variable and indexed variable annuity cashflow models; and (3) reserving under various capital and accounting regimes including statutory hedge accounting of interest rates derivatives for variable annuities. Must also have one year of experience in the following: (1) managing projects and differentiating between pragmatic solutions and idealistic solutions; (2) writing LINQ or SQL; (3) developing or testing code written in C# (or other similar object-oriented programming language); and (4) VA Hedge accounting. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. To comply with this law, the company requires current criminal background check (country/state & federal) conducted in the last five (5) years.
