Interactive College of Technology
In Newport has an immediate opening for an instructor in our HVAC department. Instructional areas include basic electricity, controls, service of residential
equipment, EPA and NATE certifications. Morning and evening classes.
ICT has been in operation since 1982 and offers a competitive salary and professional development opportunities for faculty, including NATE certification upgrades.
Duties include delivering classroom instruction of the course material, upgrading of gradebooks, and mentoring students to the expectations of the industry.
Qualifications:
- 2yrs of in-field experience.
- Thorough knowledge of residential HVAC including thermostats, air handlers,
furnaces (gas and electric), heat pumps, etc. is required.
- Experience in adult education
- EPA and NATE certification
is a plus.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
