The Town of Whitefield
seeks to fill the position of
Town Clerk/Administrative Assistant,
responsible for office operations, delivery of town services, management of a $1.2 million budget, tax collection, compliance with state and federal law and elections along with communications with citizens including website oversight.
The position reports to a five person Select Board, attends the board meetings and also oversees the Treasurer and two other office staff. Whitefield is a vibrant Lincoln County community of 2300.
The applicant should have strong financial, communication and management skills, IT competence and the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks effectively. Municipal government experience strongly preferred.
