Employment Opportunity – Town of Putnam
Highway Superintendent – Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the various activities of the Highway Department. Services include construction, maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, storm drains, buildings, landfill closure and oversight of the ash landfill. Work involves developing and implementing major departmental policies, planning and executing both short and long-range programs and coordinating departmental activities with other town departments. Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration or closely related field preferred with 5 years of management experience. Equivalent work and education experience will be considered.
