Human Resources Manager
Full Time, Springfield, MA
Reports to Chief Operating Officer. Non-profit management
services organization is seeking a Human
Resource Manager to oversee the full range of human
resource services for the organization and
four (4) additional non-profits that the organization
manages.
REQUIREMENTS: BA in HR or related field or
equivalency in education and 5 years of experience
required. Supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated
mediation skills. Experience in training preferred.
Solid background in HRIS systems (experience
with ADP a plus),administering required state
and federal compliance requirements (e.g. COBRA,
FMLA, etc) including required reporting and benefit
administration. Strong computer skills in Word,
Excel and PowerPoint required. Some experience in
Website maintenance helpful. Excellent communication
skills both verbal and written required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and manage the full
range of human resource functions including recruitment,
on-boarding, employee orientation, pre-employment
checks, maintenance of employee files
both hard copy and computerized, annual review and
implementation of employee benefits by coordinating
open enrollment process. Prepare statistical reports
as required. Identify legal requirements and government
reporting regulations affecting HR functions
and implement such as required. Coordinate with
Chief Operating Officer to ensure that policies, procedures
and reporting are in compliance and with legal
counsel in matters involving employee law suits.
Represent organization at personnel related hearings
and investigations when required. Coordinate/conduct
management training as necessary. Work closely
with managers and senior management to ensure
appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Prepare employee separation notices and related
documentation. Maintain supervisor directory and
employee directory on company website. SALARY:
