Associate Attorney
Cannon Heyman & Weiss, LLP (CHW) is seeking Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of transactional experience to join our Albany, NY and Buffalo, NY offices. Our practice is focused on real estate finance with an emphasis in affordable housing and community development. We work with for-profit and non-profit developers, as well as lenders, syndicators, and institutional investors on transactions involving the development and financing of multi-family housing and commercial real estate using tax-exempt bonds, conventional debt and the syndication of various tax credits. Candidates should desire a fast-paced, challenging and collegial work environment and have a demonstrated interest in affordable housing and community development. Prior experience in commercial lending, real estate law, tax law, not-for-profit law and/or public housing law is preferred.
