Work from Home Job Blog: How to Get My Job

I write this work from home job blog for all you readers out there who want to know more about working from home. It's a great blog, if I do say so myself, although my opinion might be biased. Wink

In all seriousness, there are other work from home job blog sites out there. I don't want to lose any of you guys as readers, but this is information that you probably already knew anyway. There are thousands of blogs on the internet, with subjects ranging from personal journals to professional careers, and even niche blogs about particular products and services. To find them, all you have to do is look.

Now, you can't have my job. I like it a little too much. However, you can find your own work at home job blog to write for, or you can even start your own blog. Being the shameless self-promoter that I am, I'd like to encourage everyone to stay right here forever. But if you're looking to get paid for blogging, that's not the best advice I can give you. So I must do my job. You can find plenty of sites that have blogs and are hiring blog writers. Networking with your current contacts is also a great way to get hired. That's how I got this gig. A guy I work for told me about the opening and asked if I'd be interested, and I didn't even have to apply. I just started blogging.

There's many different topics to cover, too, with a work at home job blog. You've seen all the different categories I've covered in the past couple months; the options are limitless. You could even focus on a specific area of working from home and generate a more focused audience. Whatever you want to do, it's up to you. However, I just want you to know that blogging isn't a complicated gig to get involved in. Whether you do it on your own, or you work for a website or company, it's a fun way to talk about things that interest you.

I like the work at home job blog because I don't have to be all technical and formal about everything. I can share my thoughts and advice, and you guys can share yours too, if you want. I feel like I can be more helpful in this setting than by writing stale, academic style articles that no one wants to read. If you want to find a blogging job, check out the freelance websites like Craig's List, Career Builder, Getafreelancer.com, and all the others that are out there. If you want to find more sites, just do a search for "blogger jobs" on a search engine--you're sure to find something that meets your needs.

Good luck, and happy blogging!
