Websites for Working from Home
There are literally millions of work at home websites out there. The term a dime a dozen does not even seem apt anymore. Maybe it should be reworded to a dime a million. Some of these work at home websites are probably scams.
However, I can personally attest to the legitimacy of several of them. I will not act as a spokesman here for any particular group as I don’t think it is appropriate and in our wonderfully litigious world I don’t particularly desire to be taken to court for what another person might consider to be a misrepresentation of the facts.
I have personally been on Social Security Disability for two years. Initially I must admit that after years of working my tail off suddenly having a lot of free time on my hands seemed wonderful. Soon though, I found myself getting bored and that boredom soon lead to depression. I knew I needed some work I could do from home. Since I was already something of a computer buff I started looking around at work at home websites. Many of those I investigated appeared to be scams.
Eventually I started off working with 2 different survey groups. I then started receiving e-mails from numerous other work at home websites dealing with surveys. Gradually I worked up to the point of doing surveys for about eight different companies. I have since reduced that number back to three. I was never looking for big bucks, mainly something to occupy my time where I could get some occasional benefits along the way.
I recently received a nice travel bag from one of the services I do surveys for. I will soon qualify for 2,500 United Airlines miles and I have also been able to donate my points earned to things such as hurricane Katrina relief. These different work at home websites have made an interesting, though not heavily profitable, contribution to my life. I guess there is always the chance that I could win one of the lotteries for participation. But, like state lotteries or Power Ball, I would not bet the farm on my winning.
I guess my point in adding to this Blog is that the work at home websites really can work for you. You just need to find one that fits your needs, health and time constraints. While I have been happy to settle for relatively small remuneration, there are larger amounts of money out there to be made if that is what you are looking for and have the time to devote to it.
