Overview of Work from Home Entertainers

 

If you like to see people smile; what could possibly be better than working from home as an entertainer. There are many opportunities to act as an entertainer and make people happy. To name just a few of the options we would have:

  • Clowns: 

Clowns working from home would normally be found doing paid gigs at such things as children’s birthday parties. While very young children might in fact be scared by a clown, most youngsters find them to be adorable and can be found almost rolling over with laughter over the clown’s antics.

 

  • Mimes: 

Mimes, like clowns, can some times be found working parties. However a work from home mime is more likely to be doing street entertainment for the enjoyment of the masses in turn for the hope of tips in the form of monetary appreciation. Mimes can frequently be found working street fairs where large numbers of people are going for entertainment or browsing.

 

  • Magicians: 

Work from home magicians depend mainly on a couple of basic venues. Like clowns, one of their venues is entertaining at a child’s or even an adult’s birthday party. The age group involved obviously dictating the type of magic tricks performed. For young magicians just getting started this can be a good launching ground for a future career.

 

More practiced magician will more likely find gigs performing at the likes of dinner theaters and night clubs. The best of them tend to be making regular appearance in several different venues. Regardless of age, it is wonderful to see the awe inspired by the magician as people in the audience try to figure out how some amazing trick was accomplished.

 

  • Comedians:

The work from home comedian is not quite as likely to be doing parties as clowns or magicians. However, a good comedian at a night club or dinner club can be worth his/her weight in gold. If you are a real people person and can see the humor in everyday life, in the things that go on around you, this might be just the area for you to try your hand at.

 

  • DJs:

Disc Jockeys more commonly know as DJs have a wide variety of venues from which they can perform their own special kind of magic. Working from home a DJ can make his services available for birthday or anniversary parties, wedding receptions, and of course on the dance floor of an after hours club where the clientele love to dance. Some of the most important things for a DJ to possess are a good sense of humor, proper sound equipment and a wide variety of music to suit most any occasion.
