There are many moms that work from home. Some of them do it out of pure enjoyment with what they do while others do so out of sheer necessity.
Moms that work from home are involved in many different activities and do so for differing reasons. The diversity of work done my moms from home is astounding.
There are those:
- Mothers who simply stay at home as mothers where the work they accomplish is the rearing of their children in the tradition of years gone by. For them that is the only work from home that matters. For these moms money is less important than the family bonding.
- Moms who work from home in order to provide additional family income to help ends meets. These women may wish that child care was their main concern; but, do in fact require extra funds to keep their financial affairs afloat. They may well take on such tasks as sewing for others, making baked goods for sell to the public or even do some house keeping for others with their own homes being the base of operations.
- Single moms who work from home because it is the only way they can survive. Many who fall into this group are often caught in a catch 22. Frequently they don’t earn enough money to pay a baby sitter and still get ahead by leaving home to work. Many times what turns out to be one of the better options is for these moms to work from home, using their own home to tend other parents’ infants and toddlers so that they can go out into the work force and have more take home to work with. Such a setup can very well prove beneficial to both or even multiple parties.
- Still other moms work from home because the businesses they work for allow them to use computers from home without having to come into the office.
These are of course just a limited number of reasons and choices made my moms who work from home. In fact a full length treatise could likely be written on the subject.
