You might have noticed that all your affiliate links include your affiliate ID. As soon as visitors land on our site through your affiliate links, whatever they will buy or sign up for will be tracked under your account even if they navigate throughout several pages of our site without your affiliate ID showing up on the follow-up pages. In addition, we use cookies that last 10 years so that, even if your visitors come back at a later time to order something without going through your site, you will still get credited for the sale. As a side note, this is therefore essential that you never modify your affiliate links so that you don't take the risk to damage your tracking.

About your payee information

I wanted to clarify something: I've had a couple affiliates complaining that their check didn't feature the right payee information and I wanted to make sure you guys know that we use whatever you put in the "company name" field as your payee information. So if you want your checks to get made to your company, put your company name in the "company name" field. However, if you want your checks to get made to your name, put your name in the "company field".

And since we're on this subject, as a reminder, we need both your social security number and W9 if you're an US affiliate to be able to release your payments. However if you're not a US based affiliate, you don't need to fill out the social security field or send us a W9.

In case, you need to update your account information, log onto your affiliate account and click "update account".

Resume Writing

Some affiliates had some questions about our success rate and guarantee so I wanted to clarify a couple points;

- our resume writing service has a 93% success rate at getting our customers more interviews

- our guarantee works in two steps:

. if after 6 weeks, our resume doesn't get more interviews, we will rewrite it for free.

. if after 120 days, our customers aren't satisfied our resume is helping them, we will refund 100% of their money - that's how confident we are in our service!
(with a 93% success rate, this hardly ever happens and in that case affiliates keep their commissions anyway)

Affiliate payments FAQ

I still get a lot of questions about affiliate payments, so I'm going to answer the most common questions here:

- I made a sale last month, why didn't I get paid?

We pay every month for a minimum payout of $25; if you earned less that $25, you will get paid once the total of your cumulated months reaches $25

- When am I getting my check?

We send checks around the middle of the following month; so, for example, if you earned more than $25 in June, your June check will be sent around mid-July.

- I'm a new affiliate and I haven't received my check yet.

Tax laws require us to have your W9 on file before being able to release your payment, if you're a US affiliate. So as soon as you make your 1st sale, make sure to send us your W9 right away (by email or contact me if you need a fax #), which will assure your check will be sent right away instead of waiting until we get your W9. Please note that if you're a foreign affiliate, you don't need to send us a W9 - however it might take a few more days to get your check since we need to send it abroad.

- Can you pay me by paypal?

We are only paying by check at this time.

- Why wasn't the check under my name?

The name on the check is the one you typed in the "Company name" field when you signed up. So if you need to change it, log onto your affiliate account and click "update account" to modify your information. Also whenever you change your payment information and contact info, feel free to drop me a line to let me know so that I can make sure the accounting department has your latest info.

- I have a question about my affiliate commissions. Who shall I contact?

You need to contact your affiliate manager - well that would be me! - since I'm the one preparing your affiliate payments.

Are blogs good to promote affiliate programs

Yes, but there are conditions:

this must be a blog with real content that can generate traffic rentention (blogs filled with banners and sales pitch look like spam and don't make sales)

you must host your blog on your own domain - urls like johnny763xd.freesuperblogs.com will make your blog look too amateurish to create confidence and make any serious sales

your post titles and bodies must include keywords and must be appealing, without overdoing it.

Most importantly, you will need to work on your blog, writing posts regularly, in order to develop a consequent group of readers who will trust you enough to buy from your blog.

why is the affiliate commission for resume writing not always the same

The affiliate commission for resume writing depends on the type of resume sold. Here is a ranking of resumes, from the highest commission to the lowest:

Federal Resume w/ KSA

Military to civilian conversion

Federal

Executive

Standard

Entry level

I would recommend to any affiliate getting some Federal or Military traffic to promote our Federal and Military resume services since they have the highest commissions.
We also recommend to the same thing for text links – you can certainly include an affiliate url in a text-based e-mail but it will look outdated and generate very poor click-through.

I’ve opened my account. Just after signing up, you should have received an e-mail including instructions on how to get started as well as your username & password, the url of your affiliate login admin and the codes for some of our best-performing text links/banners.

The first thing I would recommend to do is logging to the affiliate area to get accustomed with the various functions, which include “reports”, “build a link” and account information.

If you click “Text Links” or “Banners” under “Build a link”, you will be able to select categories such as “Top-performing links”, “Resume Writing”, etc.. . When just starting with our affiliate program. I would actually suggest selecting “top-performing” links &/or banners – you will find the codes for your affiliate links in the white fields located under the creatives (to copy and paste them onto your site, select and copy the codes with “CTRL+C” and then paste them onto your HTML page with CTRL+V).

Please note that some of these top-performing links are already included in the e-mail you received after joining our program, so you can also select these codes as well.

You can use whatever format fits best your website, but I highly recommend using text links as they proved to have higher conversion rates than banners. However, If your site is heavy in links — like a portal for example — banners will in that case be more noticeable and a more adequate choice.

How do I identify the most successful services to promote?
