Affiliate sales and commissions increase in October

Hope you guys had a great Halloween. Today being the first of the month, I've compiled all the affiliate reports and prepared your payments for October. I am glad to tell you that you guys will be getting bigger checks this month and that the number of  affiliates making sales has increased.

Affiliate commissions -- what you guys are earning -- have increased by 23% compared to September, which is the result of several factors including a higher demand for resume writing, work on conversion rates and some collaborative work between some affiliates and us. By looking at our reports, you can clearly see that affiliates who've made the effort of working with us -- on link placement, special offers, landing pages -- have steadily been increasing their sales over the last few months.

In terms of conversion rates, some of you have been earning more than $1 per click in October, which I'm sure beats the per click rate that most of you guys earn with pay-per-click ads.

Talking about pay-per-click ads, this is the occasion to remind you that our affiliate program not only allows you to earn strong commissions but also that it adds value to your site in the eyes of visitors, since we guarantee interviews with our resumes (otherwise they get refunded). Think about it: do visitors feel more confident looking at a site featuring a service that guarantees interviews or looking at a site that is plastered with text ad units?  I'm sure you already know the answer.

As for the best way to maximize your revenues, I'm obviously not suggesting to drop all your pay-per-click ads but rather to combine affiliate program and pay-per-click throughout your site, while making sure that your job seeker pages promote our resume affiliate program instead of focusing on text units.
