When your visitors are only looking for free stuff

It’s no secret that a big chunk of online traffic deals with finding something free, would it be products or services – just look at Google and Yahoo’s lists of most popular search terms to get an idea. The same thing happens with employment services with free resumes, free job postings, etc..

If you have a high-traffic site with sticky and relevant content, you will undoubtedly be able to make sales, despite the “free” factor. However, if you have a small site with low traffic, chances to make sales are slimmer, as visitors just look for free stuff and leave your site right away. In that case you will have more chances to get conversions with free offers, rather than with something to sell.

Employment911 offers 2 free services with which affiliates can earn money: free resume consultation and free resume posting. Free resume consultation pays out affiliates $.75 per lead and since resume writing is what we’re known for, it’s pretty easy for affiliates to get sign-ups (some sites earn several hundred $ a month in free consultations). Free resume posting pays out between $.25 and $.50 per lead, depending on your affiliate level.

If you’re sending us less than 100 clicks a month and don’t make any sale, I would recommend giving a try to these free services (you will need to contact me to qualify for our free resume consultation service). While you might assume that the earning/lead isn’t very high, free sign-ups might add up quickly and, in the end, you might end up with a bigger commission than what you expected.
