While I was looking at our latest monthly affiliate reports, I noticed a clear trend: beside employment-related web sites, the affiliate category that made the most sales was regional sites and, more particularly, informational sites dedicated to a city, whether they have a portal or newsy-like format.
The good news is that these sites are in the 100,000 – 1,000,000 Alexa range, which means that any local site has the potential to make some sales. One thing most of them have in common is that they feature resume links that we’ve customized to their cities or regions.
