These days’ employers are not only looking for value, but they are looking for extra value. What does it mean to add extra value? Consider extra value as anything that enhances the desirability of something that is already considered valuable. A good example would be when you see a particular piece of clothing on sale at a certain store.
It may already be something that is highly desirable, but if you see that it comes with an additional item that is also desirable it is almost impossible to not take action. When you're putting in for administrative jobs the same concept will apply. Your administrative resume should convey extra value in order to impress the reader and in this article I am going to explain how that can be done.
One creative way you can add value to your administrative resume would be to ask yourself a series of probing questions. Even though this may seem quite simple to do or may not seem like it will have that much of an impact it is a great way to analyze things. When you ask yourself creative questions rather then having someone else ask them to you then you are able to come up with hard-hitting questions and more importantly hard-hitting answers. If they are hard-hitting to you there is a very strong chance they will be hard-hitting to whoever is reading your clerical resume should you decide to include them.
